Role OverviewProxgy is seeking a full-time Back End Developer for its office in Gurugram. In this on-site role, the candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining server-side applications, designing and implementing APIs, and ensuring responsive performance.

The role includes collaborating with front-end developers, troubleshooting and debugging server issues, and enhancing software performance to meet organizational and user needs.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications using Node.js and Nest.jsWrite and maintain unit test cases to ensure code coverage and quality assuranceCollaborate in peer programming sessions and conduct code reviewsDesign and maintain database structures using PostgreSQLOptimize PostgreSQL queries and work with ORMs in TypeScript (TypeORM, Prisma)Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker/KubernetesContribute to architecture design, scalability, and performance optimizationRequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field2–5 years of experience in backend development using Node.js and Nest.jsProficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)Strong problem-solving and debugging skillsFocus on code quality and performanceStrong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automationAbility to design and develop scalable distributed systemsExperience with at least one cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or AzurePrior experience in IoT, AI, or related fields is advantageous
