. As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll help build and scale the technology behind Volio while working closely with product, operations, marketing, and external partners. Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain our

Python/FastAPI

• backend running on AWS ECS Fargate.
• - Develop and improve AI-powered multi-agent workflows using

Amazon Bedrock and LangGraph

• - Build and optimize RAG pipelines and long-term semantic memory.
• - Develop mobile features using

React Native, Flutter, or nativei OS/Android technologies

• .
• - Create lightweight 2D gamification and student progression features.
• - Integrate GPS/geolocation functionality for school and class-related experiences.
• - Design and maintain data models across

PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and MongoDB Atlas

• .
• - Contribute to AWS infrastructure, Terraform, and secure cloud architecture.
• - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using

GitHub Actions

• .
• - Support mobile releases through Apple App Store Connect and Google Play.
• - Monitor application performance using tools such as

New Relic, OpenTelemetry, and AWS X-Ray

• - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn ideas into accessible, reliable products.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building production applications, APIs, or mobile applications.
• Strong experience with

Python

• and preferably FastAPI.
• - Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
• - Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD automation.
• - Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• - Ability to work independently and take ownership in a fast-paced startup environment.
• - Genuine interest in accessibility, inclusion, and technology that improves people's lives.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience with any of the following is a plus: - LangGraph, LangChain, Amazon Bedrock, or OpenAI - React Native, Flutter, Swift, or Kotlin - RAG, vector databases, or AI/LLM applications - AWS ECS Fargate - Terraform - MongoDB Atlas Vector Search - Google OR-Tools / CP-SAT - Mobile application deployment - Observability and distributed systems
