About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead in mobile development, specializing in iOS banking applications, to join our team in Nürnberg or München. This is a full-time or part-time position, permanent in nature, designed for professionals who are passionate about leading innovative projects in the financial technology sector.

As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for guiding a team of iOS developers, shaping the system architecture, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure mobile applications. Your role will involve translating complex business requirements into technical specifications, overseeing development processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our mobile banking solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, security, and usability.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a solid educational background in computer science or a related field, with several years of professional experience in iOS application development, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.

You should have a deep understanding of architectural principles such as MVVM and Clean Architecture, along with hands-on experience in reactive programming frameworks like Combine or RxSwift. Proficiency withi OS frameworks including Security, User Notifications, and XCTest is essential, as is the ability to optimize performance using tools like Xcode Instruments.

Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern DevOps practices is highly desirable. Additionally, you should demonstrate proven leadership skills, with experience in managing cross-functional teams, making risk-aware technical decisions, and effectively communicating complex technical concepts in both German and English.

Soft skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, adaptability, and a high level of responsibility are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and fachliche leadership, coaching, and mentorship to iOS development teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Design and shape the system architecture with a focus on stability, performance, security, reusability, and maintainability, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Translate business requirements into precise technical specifications, collaborating closely with stakeholders, IT teams, product owners, and architectural authorities. Develop and maintain scalablei OS mobile applications and associated services, taking responsibility for their continuous improvement and operational stability.

Ensure high code quality through regular code reviews, architecture assessments, and automated unit testing following best practices and standards. Establish and maintain comprehensive governance frameworks covering naming conventions, versioning, security protocols, logging, and monitoring to uphold system integrity and compliance.

Promote innovation by evaluating and integrating moderni OS technologies and DevOps processes, driving digital transformation within the development lifecycle.
