Allmoxy is the operating system for woodworking businesses. Built inside a working cabinet shop by our founder, we help replace disconnected spreadsheets and legacy systems with one streamlined platform covering quoting, ordering, production, and customer management.

We're a small, tight-knit team with a loyal customer base, strong word-of-mouth, and a genuine passion for the industry we serve. **QA Engineer (Contract)** Contract | Remote / Hybrid **Department:** Technology **Reports To:** CTO **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** - Execute test cases across the Allmoxy platform, including online ordering and configuration, customer portal, office automation, payments, and production/shop floor workflows - Identify, document, and track software defects using our bug tracking system - Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and troubleshoot issues - Create detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases - Perform regression testing to ensure new changes don't impact existing functionality - Validate user stories against acceptance criteria - Test integrations such as SSO login and payment processing (e.g., Stripe) for reliability and security - Participate in stand-ups and sprint planning as needed - Generate test reports and metrics for the engineering team **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS** - 2+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in SaaS environments - Strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices - Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) - Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and API testing - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment - Comfortable in a small company where priorities shift and everyone wears multiple hats **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** - Experience testing cloud-based applications - Familiarity with automated testing concepts and tools - Understanding of version control systems (Git) - Experience with SSO, payment integrations (e.g., Stripe), or reporting/data features - Experience in manufacturing, woodworking, millwork, or similar trade industries **COMPENSATION** Contract rate: Hourly, depending on experience *Allmoxy is an equal opportunity employer.*
