Full Stack Engineers with Android and backend expertise in Go or Java

to work on large-scale systems. The role will be part of the

Subscriptions and Payments

engineering team and will contribute to building and enhancing

Fire TV In-App Purchase (IAP)

capabilities, subscription journeys, payment integrations and entitlement workflows. You will work across

Android/Fire TV applications and backend services

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain

Android / Fire TV applications

• and supporting backend services.
• - Build Android features using

Kotlin/Java

• with a focus on performance, reliability and user experience.
• - Develop scalable backend services using

Go or Java

• - Build and integrate APIs supporting subscriptions, payments and entitlement workflows.
• - Implement

Fire TV In-App Purchase (IAP)

• flows including purchases, renewals, cancellations and entitlement synchronization.
• - Integrate applications with app-store APIs, payment platforms and internal backend services.
• - Build resilient workflows capable of handling failures, retries and transaction reconciliation.
• - Design systems to support

high concurrency and large traffic spikes

• , particularly during live sports and major content releases.
• - Optimize application startup, API latency, network usage and overall performance.
• - Work on authentication, device management and user-session flows where required.
• - Implement monitoring, logging and observability across mobile/TV and backend systems.
• - Write maintainable, well-tested production code.
• - Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews and technical design reviews.
• - Collaborate with Android, backend, platform, payments and product teams to deliver features end-to-end.
