• Can independently investigate unfamiliar systems and codebases - Is comfortable working with third-party APIs whose behavior may not always be completely documented - Can reason through integration problems and determine appropriate solutions with limited guidance - Is able to work effectively in an environment where understanding existing behavior is sometimes as important as implementing new functionality
